Explain what you learned from reading the Wikipedia weblink about the Cultural Revolution on the people of China.
the People's Republic of China commonly known as China, is the most populous state in the world with over 1.3 billion people. Located in East Asia, China is governed by the Communist Party of China under a single-party system.
China is the world's largest exporter and second largest importer of goods and 40 millioin farmers has been displace from their land because of economic development and contributing to the 87,000 demonstration and riots across China in the year of 2005 -detxenyang
I learned that while economic and social controls have been greatly relaxed in China since the 1970s, political freedom is still tightly restricted. It also says, that the Constitution of the People's Republic of China has fundamental rights, however these provisions do not afford significant protection in practice against criminal prosecution by the State. -Sarah Lindwall
Mao launched the Cultural Revolution. In 1972, Mao and Zhou Enlai met with Richard Nixon to establish relations with the U.S.
Mao died then the Gang of Four got arrested and blamed for the Cultural Revolution. The Communist Party loosened gov. control over citizens' personal lives and communes were disbanded. peasants got multiple land leases, and it greatly raised incentives and agricultural production. China then transitionedfrom a planned economy to a mixed economy with an increasingly open market environment.
Many people moved out of China when they were in the Cultural Revolution. China is the fasted growing ecomony also the worlds largest exporter and second largest imported of goods.
The Republic of china is known as China. Chinese goverment is working under the Communist Party which was build in 1976.Some of the people move America to get better life from the China.
The first leaders of the People's Republic of China were born in the old society but were influenced by the May Fourth Movement and reformist ideals. --Cory Hilbelink
This may sound a little ignorant ... But When i read about obesity increasing with the youth of China i was a little surprised because when i think of obesity you think of Amiericans , But when you think of China you think of people bicycling from place to place eating healthy and staying fit and lean .

Major hostilities ended in 1949, when the communists won the civil war and established the People's Republic of China in mainland China.
